At Westinghouse Electric Company, we contribute our time and resources to helping advance science and technology education, protecting the environment, and improving the communities where we live and work.
The Westinghouse Charitable Giving Program is the primary funding entity for the company’s social investments. Organizations that hold a non-profit 501(c)3 status and meet our grant requirements are welcome to apply for this grant. Areas of emphasis include Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education, Environmental Sustainability and Community Vitality.
A Charitable Giving grant for STEM Education supports such programs for K-12. Grants for Environmental Sustainability are intended to support those which keep our Earth, air and water clean. Conservation and recycling are also important pieces to sustaining life on Earth. A Charitable Giving grant for Community Vitality is one which enhances the economic development, public safety, arts, civic initiatives and initiatives that improve the overall condition of life.
