Speaking Engagements with our Westinghouse Speakers Bureau
Knowledgeable Westinghouse employees speak to schools and community organizations at their locations to present or discuss, articulately, but in layman’s terms, the many topics that touch STEM. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- What is Nuclear Energy?
- Careers in Engineering
- Pros and Cons of all Forms of Energy
- The Fission Process
- What is Radiation?
- Storage and Transportation of Nuclear Fuel
- Nuclear Safety
Examples of these types of visits include speaking to students (K-12) during a class or as an assembly. Our employees also enjoy speaking at career fairs and judging science contests.
