Many nuclear utilities are challenged to identify gaps with respect to parts needs for upcoming outages. Due to long lead times and lack of work demand visibility, these gaps result in a lack of preparedness for planned outage scope.
Enhanced Inventory Management (EIM) addresses these challenges by applying industry data and analytics to shelf stock for up coming outage preventive maintenance plans. The service is a key element of the OptiLife™ Service Center, utilizing Westinghouse’s industry-best data capabilities and engineering subject matter experts to identify and resolve parts vulnerabilities.
